Nozzle Area - NEMA turbine

Nozzle Area - NEMA turbine

Nozzle Area - NEMA turbine

(OP)
I have to calculate the allowable nozzle loads (10" 1500#) on the inlet nozzle of a NEMA turbine. For this I have to calculate the equivalent area of the turbine exhaust for calculting the allowable nozzle loads on a NEMA SM-24 turbine, since the code specifies that I first calculate the areas of all nozzle openings. The subject is a rectangular opening (exhaust connected to the condensor thorugh an expansion bellow) of size 150 mm x 135 mm on the turbine.  How do I convert this sectional area to an equivalent nozzle area?  Is it just straight mathematics ?/b
