I cannot get my dimension text sizes to change

on my drawing in AutoCAD R14.

I have even completed a block transfer of another drawing from our network to utilize their formated size, but as soon as it is imported over and I attempt to explode the drawing it changes to the unwanted default size of 0.18 text height.

A little assistance here will be most appreciated.

RE: I cannot get my dimension text sizes to change

It may be dependant on the standard text size font.  Enter "style" at the command line, and see what the text size is.  If the height is set, that will indicate what size is used, but if is "0", then the text height will be whatever is used in your "dimstyle" text height.  (hopefully I wasn't too confusing?)
