Line thickness in Parts/Assemblies

Line thickness in Parts/Assemblies

Is there any way to change the appearance of edges in parts and assemblies?  Ever since I installed SW2004 my parts have really thick edges in HLR and HLV modes. I know that you can change the line font in drawings, but that does not change the way a part looks in the part file. Am I missing something easy?  Thanks.

RE: Line thickness in Parts/Assemblies

Tool, Options, System Options, Display/Selection - is "Anti-alias edges" checked? If so, uncheck. This applies to the "Shaded with Edges" mode.
I read your post more carefully and what I think will help is unchecking the "Draft Quality HLR/HLV" button. This is the button that looks like HLR with the lightning bolt through it.

Thanks for the quick response Mandrake.  The "Draft Qualilty HLR/HLV" button did the trick.  I never had that button on my toolbar, and frankly didn't know it existed.  Thanks again.
