Use of a "design philosophy"...

Use of a "design philosophy"...

Use of a "design philosophy"...

(OP)
I tried to see if could get somebody to answer in the "Chemical plant design and operations" forum. But so far nobody has reacted on the following questions:

I was wondering about the use of the ANSI/ISA-88.01-1995 during design/development of chemical plants.

Is it only engineers involved in the control systems design who use the models as a way of communicating requirements and solutions?

Are the end-users or the engineers responsible of the physical design aware of this standard? Are they normaly willing to undertake the standard and use the models as a way of communicating requirements to the control system?

I would appreciate if a design specialist could give me a quick "view" of the "normal" situation. As far as I can see, it looks like "hard work" to get the "right people" involved in the use of the "right methods".
