In Inventor the fillet and chamfer commands contain a "setbacks" option. It can be used at the intersection of three edges. I was wondering if someone could tell what the practical application of this option would be...where it would be used?

RE: Inventor setbacks

In the Inventor help file, it describes the use of this. The subject is "Chamfer Feature Reference"
