Mil Spec Fasteners

(OP)
I am looking for a company or a site that will convert fastener desciptions into a mil-spec number.

i.e.  Plug in 1/4-28x1.00 Socket Head Cap Screw (Cad Plated)
and it would spit out a current mil-spec number.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
