Display of Foreign Characters in AutoCAD

Display of Foreign Characters in AutoCAD

Display of Foreign Characters in AutoCAD

(OP)
We are preparing some proposal drawings for a project in Moscow. We are trying to use Times New Roman (Cyrllic) but some of the characters do not display properly on the screen or hardcopy. When we bring up the MText editor all looks fine, however on the screen we get question marks.

Can anyone point to what the problem might be?

Thanks,

Richard

RE: Display of Foreign Characters in AutoCAD

Hi,

I have had the opposite problem, it looked good on screen and on print but all sorts of characters in Mtext editor. (I got the translation from one of our translators in a word file and pasted it into my drawing). Unfortunately I never had time to look into it but a search in Autodesk database came up with this.

Writing text using Cyrillic letters

Hope it does the trick for you.

Tom
