Whether exists any programs which allow to estimate mechanical characteristics of object knowing characteristics of its vibration? I am going to use ANSYS, however as I know, this package has no special means for solving of such problems.

With the best regards,
Dmitry

RE: Second task of diagnostics

There is possibility of adjusting FEM-model parameters (shell thickness, masses, etc.) with experimental vibration charakteristics (e.g. egenvalues) in some special packages.
You must build and analize the FEM-model prior such an adjusting . Then the program changes properties of the FEM-model so that calculated values be equal to measured ones.
I know 2 programs of that kind:
1. Spetialized program FEM-Tools.
www.femtools.com
2. An addon to PATRAN named ProCOR.
www.mscsoftware.com
but i did not find ProCOR description there; you may contact MSC for details.

RE: Second task of diagnostics

More specifically, what are you trying to do?  There certainly are packages which can do this in some instances, but lacking your specifics I can't give you a proper answer.

For sure this are the right places to go (thanks to baigazin):
www.femtools.com
www.mscsoftware.com

Now I shall just study available materials in order to know what kinds of friction they can coupe with.
