ATI Radeon Chipset and Spec Tree

(OP)
I have a compaq evo n1020v and i am having graphics problems with CATIA V5. Initially whilst the specification tree was visable the processing became execessive if i tried to do anything, even rotate the model. I believe i have updated my driver to the latest which has improved the situation somewhat. I can rotate the model fine now with the specification tree up but if i highlight the text in the specification tree the highligting is very slow. The longer the specification text the slower the highlighting. I believe this to be a problem with the radeon graphics chip set / driver as i had the same problem with a radeon graphics card in a desk top. I fixed this by downloading the latest driver from ATI.

Has anyone had similar difficulties and got round them?

Thanks

Mark
