Excel Sheet for MSE Wall Global Stability

Excel Sheet for MSE Wall Global Stability

(OP)
Hey guys,

Does anyone have an excel sheet that analyzes an MSE Wall for global stability by considering the Log-Spiral failure plane?  I need to do a quick estimate of what may be needed for a site and we don't have a geotech in our office.

Thanks for your help.  -  Dinosaur

RE: Excel Sheet for MSE Wall Global Stability

I don't have a spreadsheet to offer but recall that the following references may be helpful.

Foundation Analysis and Design - Bowles
Foundation Engineering - Das

Each of those references include a chapter on MSE wall design and construction.

RE: Excel Sheet for MSE Wall Global Stability

You can find much useful software for the design of MSE walls available free from manufacturers such as Keystone and Anchor Diamond and others.

Send me an email and I'll provide some links.

good luck
