Is it possible to create a polar plot in excel, i wish to view the load on a cylindrical casing.

RE: excel - polar plot

It seems you can either
1. use a radar plot (needs some conversion, but I haven't tried it, so can't help you here)
2. convert the polar coordinates to x,y and plot them on a scatter plot. Look at http://www.bmsltd.co.uk/excel/SBXLPage.asp#Charting and then look for funchrt6

Joerd
