RE: water harvesting for sustainble agriculture

What would you like to know about rain water harvesting.  There are different techniques for different purposes. You can harvest rainwater from natural surfaces as well as artificially prepared surfaces. My research thesis was about water  harvesting for sustainable agriculture.

RE: water harvesting for sustainble agriculture

I have a Deutz DX 160 agricultural tractor that has a 1000 rpm pto. The Deutz dealer says the pto shaft is not inter-
changeable with a 540 shaft. I am looking for a gear-reducer type with a female input of 21 splines(that slides over the 1000 rpm shaft)and has an output shaft of 540. I know there is a stub shaft that slides over the existing 21 splined, 1000 rpm shaft that is a 6 splined shaft for the 540 rpm equipment.  The problem with this is that you have to idle the tractor down and when you do this you lose horsepower and it lugs the engine. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
