Generator Rotor Earth Fault Protection

(OP)
Hello,

We are looking for Generator Rotor Earth Fault Protection to operate on a 1200VDC generator exciter field. From our searches we find that most manufacturers are limited to around 600VDC. Does anyone know of a relay product that can meet these specifications??

Thanks in advance, Travis

RE: Generator Rotor Earth Fault Protection

Why in power station, always the Medium voltage change over is from station to unit or station to station.  Why not the practice of change over from  unit to unit if there are multiple generator blocks are available.  Is there any technical reason behind this?
