Plotting problems

(OP)
We recently installed AutoCAD 2004 on the network and are having plotting problems. I am plotting D size reduced to B size both on a Savin SLP38c color laser printer and a Gestetner 3355 copier/printer combo.
The problem occurs using either the acad.ctb or the monochrome.ctb. I get a message saying "Unable to create new color palette" and then I crash with Fatal Error: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 3600cle8h.
This didn't happen with the trial version of the software we were using prior to the network install.
Besides updating the printer drivers, does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Lynne

RE: Plotting problems

Go in the folder PLOT STYLES, manually copy the acad.ctb and monocrome.ctb in other 2 different files (i.e. acad-me.ctb and monocrome-me.ctb), edit the pen widths to suit your needs and then try again to plot.
