I work in LDD.  WHen I open my dwg my units are in feet and inches.  I then use the -units command to change them to decimal degrees.  When I reopen the dwg it reverts back to feet and inches.  ANy ideas on how to remedy this annoying problem?  thanks

RE: units format

what is LDD ? Which version of Autocad are you using ?

RE: units format

It sounds like you are having the same problem we have had here with our LDD and AC2002.  If you are indeed having the same problem, you can find the fix to it by using the directions given at http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123....
Since we have implimented the changes, we have had no further problems.  It will also prevent dimension styles from being automatically (and mysteriously) over-ridden.

RE: units format

Hi,

are You running 2000/2002? Then try Desktop-> set up drawing-> units

LDD stands for Land Development Desktop - I think that they have actually changed the name of it.  I run 2002 - I have 2004 but have not installed it y et.
