Thicken Sheet (Select Normal)

Thicken Sheet (Select Normal)

Thicken Sheet (Select Normal)

(OP)
Greetings,

I have created a wing skin (sheet body) and want to thicken the sheet into a solid, presumably using the "Thicken Sheet" tool.  I select the sheet, but it does not give me a "normal" direction option.  Consequently, the sheet always thickens outward, rather than inward.  Is there a way to reverse the normal direction of the sheet to get the sheet to thickne inwards?

RE: Thicken Sheet (Select Normal)

I think it picks up the normal of your sheet body (there is a front side and back side to sheet bodies). Try to input a negative value for the thicken operation or (if that doesn't work) change the normal on your sheet body (in free form operations, the order of pick points on the curves determines the sheet normal).

Ah, forgot about those negative values...

Thanks Cowski.
