IntelliSketch question

IntelliSketch question

IntelliSketch question

(OP)
Is there a way to scroll thru all the options of a particular point ie if you have a circle and an intersection of 2 or more lines in the center of the circle how do you get it to select the circle when it keeps jumping to the end point of the line without always having to go into tools-intellisketch and un check the option boxes that you don't want?

RE: IntelliSketch question

Phil,

Unfortunately there is no shortcut or hotkey way to force Intellisketch to only select the desired option. Many of us have expressed a wish for hotkey options to enhance Intellisketch's behaviour - eg 'C' to lock a line directly to a circle or arc Centre, 'M' for Midpoint etc.

A good technique is to sketch new geometry in a clear area of the screen, then create a final relationship or dimension to lock it into its correct place. This works especially well in busy / congested profiles or during the latter stages of construction of complex parts.
