I have sum drilling calculations to do and im stuck with how to do/where to go next.

1. Calculate the capacity of the surface lines?

Given:

Present mud weight = 15ppg
Surface Lines: 400ft, 4" I.Dline.

What other info would i need to calculate this?

2. Total strokes from the pump to the bit?

Given:

Mud pumps are Triplex  61/2" Liner x 12" Stroke @ 95% eff.
( i know how to calculate the area and then volume but how do i convert from inches?)
T.V.D = 10000ft

What other info do i need to calculate this?
