I migrate from Windows 98 to Windows 2000. I save my personal.xls with all macros but I could not find where must be located in Windows (the old Excel -> Start).
I generate a new personal.xls that works, but is imposible find it on directory. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

RE: personal.xls

Do a search on your computer for personal.xls.....

RE: personal.xls

If you are using w2000 or XP, there should be a folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART

TTFN

IRstuff
Obviusly, search had be done extensively in HD. Refer your appreciate answer about path "C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART" the last 4 subrirectories do not exist (\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART).
The fact is new personal.xls is working fine, but it not exist.I applied Microsoft help unsuccefully.

RE: personal.xls

IRstuff is correct HNGRR.  The directory is there for 2000 and XP.  What OS are you using?

Also make sure you are able to see the hidden files.  That may work.

RE: personal.xls

It should be found on:

C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART

You say you can't find the last 4 folders, these are usually hidden folders.

Thanks
