winding inductance of cage type induction motors

winding inductance of cage type induction motors

winding inductance of cage type induction motors

(OP)
In general, what is the range of winding inductance of cage type induction motors with power of 100kW to 150kW for traction application?

RE: winding inductance of cage type induction motors

I don't know the answer but I think you'll need to clarify whether you're talking about the stator leakage reactance, rotor leakage reactance or inductance measured by applying voltage between two leads three-phase motor and measuring current.

RE: winding inductance of cage type induction motors

Suggestion: It appears that the stator winding inductance Ls is sought (not the mutual inductance between the stator and rotor that is normally incorporated in the magnetizing branch inductance Lm or rotor winding (cage) inductance, Lr)

RE: winding inductance of cage type induction motors

Traction motor parameters are hard to generalize since the motors are often designed specifically for the system where they will be used.  Your best bet is to go directly to manufacturers such as Seimens, ABB, and GE to see if they will provide preliminary numbers for your application.
