Does anyone have any experience with equipment installation and wiring in China.  Are their codes and NEMA ratings similar to ours?

RE: IEEE requirements in China

I would think that the codes are quite different since most everything else electrically is.

I would suggest contacting UL. They have a counterpart in China that handles these types of questions. www.ul.com

Good luck!

RE: IEEE requirements in China

China standards are called Guo Biao or GB and are a variation of the IEC standards. China has now imposed what is called China Compulsory Certification or CCC requirements on all equipment entering that country. following is a link for more information.
