PC104 Enclosures

PC104 Enclosures

(OP)

I need to design an enclosure for a PC104 computer and as always space is limited.  I also need to make sure that in the future we will have room the ever changing hardware that's available.  So, can someone point me in the direction of standard form-factors that are often adhered to for the PC104 computers?  I know the overall dimensions of the boards but not where connectors are likely to overhang.

Thank you,
Seth

RE: PC104 Enclosures

Go to www.pc104.org and follow the links to technology and specifications. It has everything you need; dimensions, pin-outs of the connectors and etc.

RE: PC104 Enclosures

Hi Seth,
Were you able to design your PC-104 enclosure?
If did you find some interesting information on the NET?
I am also trying to a similar thing and I think it would be very useful to both of us to share more information.
Please let me know if you have any inputs.
Thank You!
Vivek
