I am currently working in the industry, and want to expand my skills. I would like to attend a resident couse, such as boeings struc course I & II, but time and workload may not allow....

does anyone have any comments on PSA's online coure (using the text Practical Stress Analysis for Design Engineers by Jean-Claude Flabel) or other recomendations?

RE: looking for a stress analysis course...

I am currently working the aircrat repair design field and halfway through Flabel's Practical Stress Analysis course.  I have also attended the boeing structures part II course.  In my opinion you will get much more out of Flabel's course but there is a reasonable time input required for Flabels course - about 8 hours for each one of the nine sections.
Of the engineers in my company have undertaken this course the basic feedback is: For junior engineer it is a great course, the senior engineers just got pissed off doing all those moment of inertia calcs... :)
