Looking for a Corrosion Control Reference

Looking for a Corrosion Control Reference

Looking for a Corrosion Control Reference

(OP)
I am looking for a reference book or paper with guidance for doing a desktop study for corrosion control in a public drinking water system.  In particular, one that discusses potential lead and or copper saturation in the water.  I would appreciate any suggestions.

American Water Works Assocation www.awwa.org has lots of info, with detailed reports in their journal, there are also documents from their research foundation www.awwarf.org.  but they do not give this information for free. :(

As for regulatory documents and information epa.gov.  The regulation of lead and copper in drinking water in the US is way below saturation 0.015 mg/l for lead and 1.3 mg/l for copper,  This regulation is an action level, if more than 10% of the homes tested for lead and copper exceed this level then the utility must optimize corrosion control treatment.

RE: Looking for a Corrosion Control Reference

Just do an internet search for "Lead Copper Rule".  You will find all sorts of corrosion control information there.

You should also visit the web site:
