Nordstrom Plug Valve Lubricant

(OP)
Can anyone tell me what lubricant they use in a Nordstrom Plug Valve in Natural Gas service? Do you still use beeswax? and if so, where do you purchase it?

Thanks,

Michelle

RE: Nordstrom Plug Valve Lubricant

According to the Nordstrom catalog: below 0 deg F, use Sealant # 960 or 1033; above 0 deg F, use Sealant # 555 or 1033. Go to their web site for a list of distributors.

RE: Nordstrom Plug Valve Lubricant

I'd just contact your Nordstrom rep.  We used some of their valves on the North Slope and I found the Anchorage rep to be excellent.
