High frequency transformer model
High frequency transformer model
(OP)
I am studying the impact of vacuum circuit breakers on distribution transformers with different load types.
I was wondering if anybody knows where I can get the parameters ( the actual RLC values and equivalent circuit) of a three-phase 1MVA transformer model(12.47kV-480v, delta-wye connected). I am specially interested in the high frequency response ( resonance points).
The model is to be used in EMTP.
Any help is highly appreciated

1. Gordon R. Slemon "Magnetoelectric Devices, Transducers, Transformers, and Machines," John Wiley and Sons, Inc., 1966,
Essentially, capacitances:
1. Between primary and secondary windings has to be considered
2. Primary winding capacitance in parallel to the transformer input
3. Secondary winding capacitance in parallel to the transformer output
