A smelly problem

A smelly problem

A smelly problem

(OP)
I have inherited a project to rid one of the production buildings of the nasty odour problem it has.
The smell is due to a phosphine compound.  The previous owner of the project had been heading down the scrubbing route but I don't feel this will work or at best will only transfer the problem to the drains.

Has anyone any expertise in odour control that could offer some advise?

RE: A smelly problem

We handle acrylates and we use a catalytic oxidizer.  We used scrubbers 20 years ago, but we didn't want to handle the spent scrubber solutions.  It's so much better to destroy the odiferous molecule than put it in a different state.  It's permanent!

Good luck,
Latexman
