Multi Axis Load Cell

Multi Axis Load Cell

Multi Axis Load Cell

(OP)
I need a light weight force transducer to measure forces up to 2000N in Fz and approx 1000N in Fx and Fy. I have looked into purchasing multi axis load cells but the ones which are lightweight and small do not measure loads up to these values. I am interested in making my own load cell so any information on how a multi axis load cell works would be appreciated. I understand the basic principles of how load cells work but need more detailed information on its set up (transducers used, arrangement, structure etc)
Thanks
MF

RE: Multi Axis Load Cell

I can't help you regarding design and make a transducer, but can introduce a website that might be useful to find your sensor:
http://sensors-transducers.globalspec.co...

the main site is www.globalspec.com which is a HUGE database for engineering parts, sensors, services, consultancy and much more. Try it, you may find your tiny sensor.

Cheers
