Nonlinear cable analysis programs

I am looking for recommendations on programs that will perform statics analysis on cable structures (building applications). I am also interested in the analysis of tensioned fabric structures. Any recommendations?

RE: Nonlinear cable analysis programs

Hi mls37,
Have a look at www.arcaro.org. You should find what you're looking for there.
Good luck.

RE: Nonlinear cable analysis programs

May want to check our STAAD, LARSA or STRUDL. STAAD and LARSA habe now combined companies. www.reiworld.com.

RE: Nonlinear cable analysis programs

LARSA would be a perfect fit for your needs. I have analyzed several cable structures using this program and also it is very user friendly.

Thanks to everyone for your help. I have followed your suggestions and recommendations. The varcaro site was particularly useful for tensioned web structures.
