Ethylene Decomposition

Ethylene Decomposition

Ethylene Decomposition

(OP)
I was wondering if anyone could point to some literature about the conditions where ethylene decomposition will occur and how to stop the decomposition.

I know generally the ranges of pressures / temperatures required but I am designing a blowdown system to depressurize the ethylene system when a decomp is detected and I was wondering if anyone knew how low the pressures should go before the decomp will be arrested.   Is it possible that the decomp and resulting flame could continue past relatively low pressures (400 psig)??

Anyone??
