Looking for help with an INTERNAL ERROR

Looking for help with an INTERNAL ERROR

Looking for help with an INTERNAL ERROR

(OP)
We are running AutoCad 14 Which is the platform for our Inspection sofware.
Lately we have been getting the following error when trying to open a previously saved .dwg file.

INTERNAL ERROR:!savers.cpp@375:eGeneral Modeling Failure

ACIS error 3300

Does anyone have any idea what this is or where I can go to try and decifer the message?

Thanks

RE: Looking for help with an INTERNAL ERROR

is it ALL saved drawings or just one in particular?

searched Acad knowledge base and this is what came up.

RE: Looking for help with an INTERNAL ERROR

Not all drawings.  The main common factor is the files were originally imported from either Catia or UG, then re-saved as a dwg.  I'm not an Autocad expert but I am well aware of the problems in importing data from Catia (especially) & UG into other CAD platforms.  I'm not sure if this is the root of the problem in this case though.

I'll read through the link and see what I can find.  I did notice R14 is not on the Win2000 list though and that is the OS we are running.

Thanks...
