Applying graphics without PhotoWorks

I am wondering if anyone has been able to apply a .TIF or .BMP (any format realy) to the surface of a model without using PhotoWorks?

RE: Applying graphics without PhotoWorks

MadMango,

I can insert a Tif. & .Bmp into my parts & assemblies, but I can't attach them to a surface. That is where Photoworks comes in and does it's job. At my last job we had Photoworks and it was a real cool program for this type of work.

You might check out www.nhcad.com he has some really neat programs that he wrote. I don't know if he as one for this or not but it's worth a try. If you find something that works other than Photoworks, post it here (free goood).

Hope that helps,
Cheers,

Thanks for the link.  It'll take me awhile to run through all of what is presented there.  I used PhotoWorks at my last job too, and it was very nice.  I guess I am trying to create a "decal" (if I remember the verbage correctly) except it is hard since I don't have PhotoWorks.

Thanks again.
