Simple Wireless Vibration Monitoring?

Simple Wireless Vibration Monitoring?

Simple Wireless Vibration Monitoring?

(OP)
Most of the condition monitoring systems on the market are highly sophisticated and very expensive.  They involve high bandwidth and fast data transfer rates, which are not necessary in my particular application.  I need a wireless transmitter/receiver unit that is very simple........only 2 bits of digital data sent when a predefined tolerance limit is exceeded.  Any ideas would be helpful.

RE: Simple Wireless Vibration Monitoring?

Please e-mail specs/requirements to dgallagher@ghg.net. Will be happy to provide you a proposed solution.

RE: Simple Wireless Vibration Monitoring?

I would be interested if there was a reply to Luber's request. Luber can e-mail me direct to hansend@asme.org (David Hansen).

RE: Simple Wireless Vibration Monitoring?

I would also like information on wireless data colection systems. E-mail me direct jack.burn@celaneseacetate.com
Thanks

RE: Simple Wireless Vibration Monitoring?

What is the max. distance ? Are the TX or RX moving or are they both static? How fast the response have to be ? Could
you use infrared ? Ultrasonics ?

Are the TX and Rx in one building ? could you use the line ?
How much error-rate can you afford ?

If you want help, give spec's !!!!
