Save effort on drawings?

Save effort on drawings?

Save effort on drawings?

(OP)
I have a group of parts that are very similar except that the angle changes from 0 to 10 degrees.  I plan on doing a "saveas" command to make 11 separate (*.ipt) parts.  Now I want to make 11 drawings of each but I only want to detail it once as a "*.idw", do a "saveas" to make each drawing and then, (the part I cannot do) remap each drawing to its' corresponding "*.ipt".  Does anyone have an idea how to do this or a better method using Inventor?
Thanks,

Vince

RE: Save effort on drawings?

I am definitely not an expert here, but I think you could use the Design Assistant to copy both the .ipt and the .idw files after you detail the "master" drawings, instead of using "Saveas". Rename the files in design assistant to retain the links, then change the angle perameter for each file.
