Hi can any one help. When I imput bilateral tolerance +0.75 -0.0 it outputs it as +0.75 0. How do you get  both signs to show?

Thanks in advance Jim Paterson Scotland.

RE: DimensionTolerance

this is not a great solution, but put -.0000001.  Since your tolerance is set to two or three places you will not see the 1, and will show the -0.00.

Thanks that works fine

RE: DimensionTolerance

I am not into drafting standards, but I thought that in ISO the correct method for displaying + something -0 or +0 - something would be +0.075 0?  This is the standard where I work.

RE: DimensionTolerance

I agree, but I've been put through this same wringer before, too.  Never mind how stupid the question "Do you mean plus zero or minus zero?" sounds, sometimes you have to play for the audience.

All this machinery making modern music can still be open-hearted.

RE: DimensionTolerance

Jimp178, someone touched upon a possible solution but it has been lost.  What Document Properties do you have set for Dimensioning Standards?  Are you using ISO?  Do you need to switch to ANSI?  What standards are you suppose to be detailing to?

RE: DimensionTolerance

Our std (per ansi) is to show stacked dim's. Showing +0.0 - 0.0 can be mmisread if dwg is shrunk or microfilmed for govt use.
