forming of antenna reflector

forming of antenna reflector

(OP)
what are the different processes involved in making an antenna reflector??...
please help with relevant websites or any books...
note..antenna is 4mt wide in dia. with 0.1mm accuracy..

RE: forming of antenna reflector

Perhaps you could provide a bit more specificity. We make reflectors out of steel pipe.

Finite difference analysis to determine preliminary layout; site testing to determine final layout.

Fab processes are simple: saw cutting, layout, SMAW

Lots of books on antenna design but not my bailiwick.

RE: forming of antenna reflector

we need to concentrate and study the manufacturing processes of the antenna reflector..
eg..forming processes..
which process is the most convinient?..cost effective??
pros and cons??..how to achieve the desired accuracy is our main aim..

RE: forming of antenna reflector

Hi nitin19,
Are you making a parabolic reflector, or some other kind of reflector?  4mt dia. does not adequately describe what you are trying to fabricate.
