How useful are these certifications by ASQ? Especially since my core competency is welding and I am working on getting a MSc(welding) from Cranfield(eventually going to get EWE/IWE), MWeldI & CEng from TWI. I have got Sr Welding Inspector from CSWIP, and aiming to get CWI/SCWI from AWS.
I would think that CQE and CQA would be useful certifications to me, what say????

LeAnne, I saw a few posts by you on ASQ certifications...ur two cents worth?

In addition to this I am also trying to get a Six Sigma green belt and a few level II/III ACCP/ASNT under my belt. I am also going for API 510 and 570 ICP exams. The idea is to let my core competency as a welding engg remain while building up competency in QC and QA. Any other certifications which could be useful to me in the long run, any words of advice??

Thanks and regards

The black holes of nature are the most perfect macroscopic objects there are in the universe: the only elements in their construction are our concepts of space and time.
