need a high frequency power

I need a power source

output sine wave
frequency: 2450 MHz
Voltage: 10 kV
power: 50 W

I have no idea in it, anybody can give me some information in products or show me a way to design it.

Thanks in advance.

RE: need a high frequency power

I don't think you can get 10KV with 50 W in free
space at 2.4GHz, but it may be possible inside of a cavity.

50W at 10KV would be 2 MOhm -- any piece of wire even
only a .1 inch piece would have significantly less
impedance in free space .

Even if it is OK inside of a cavity, it has to have extremelly high Q. Perhaps superconductive ? Niobium
plated invar in liquid He ? If the frequency is critical,
it will take some experimentation to tune it...

Are you sure in your numbers? can't you get the required
effect somehow differently ? Is this for some nuclear physical experiment ?

Thank you very much. Yes, I am working in accelerator physics.

In our lab, another group is developing superconducting cavity, though this one is not here. I know little in cavity.

Since we have 500MHz and higher power level circuit, somebody write to me and want to buy one.

As I know, my friend here are planning to buy the cavity and superconducting system from laboraotries from German or japan. I can ask my collegues here directly.
