Transformer specs/ detailing

Transformer specs/ detailing

(OP)
Hi All,

I have been tasked with a spec control drawing for a transformer with primary coil and secondary coil.  The primary is split in the middle so that I have 4 wires exposed.  My problem is I do not know the industry jargan or symbols to put on a Mechanical drawing.  Could someone please direct me to a web site that may help me.

Thanks for an assistance

RE: Transformer specs/ detailing

I'm not sure what you are looking for, but you might start with the vendor of your transformer.  Otherwise, transformers are really standardized for wiring arrangements, try GE at www.geindustrial.com.  If your looking for drafting symbols, you might also try the AIA website.
