Tire Volume

(OP)
Can anyone tell me the average volume of a passenger tire, and also a truck tire in either cubic feet, or cubic meters.

Thank you

G.B.

RE: Tire Volume

hi gsberger,

The volume of a tire depends on the construction and the size. For truck tire of size 10.00 - 20,that is section width of tire is 10 inches and curing ring dia is 20 inches, the volume is around 30000 cc.if u consider the specific gravity to be 1.2 then the weight would be 36 kg

Just wondering if your interest overlaps mine, so why do you ask?
