Sliding dust/grit seal

Sliding dust/grit seal

Sliding dust/grit seal

(OP)
I have a carbon fibre plate that slides into a slot.

If grit is present it scratches the plate by being dragged into the slot.

I want to mount a wiper at the entrance to the slot to prevent grit being carried in when the plate retracts.

What profile should the seal be?

What material?

Does anybody make strips of something already?

Etc..

It is water lubricated, but there is no capacity for continual flushing or other active systems.

Thanks for any help

Mike
