I need some advice. What is the effect on the fatigue of 304SS severely deformed?

RE: severely deformed effect for fatigue

Need more info.  If the severe deformation is in the form of cold rolling 304 sheet/strip from a heavier gauge to a thinner gauge, then the result is a significant increase in fatigue strength due to the strain hardening that occurs.  However, if your severe deformation results in surface cracks, strain localization, etc., then the opposite is likely to occur.  Please provide a more thorough description of the problem.
