A2K displays a pop-up window that can't be cleared???

A2K displays a pop-up window that can't be cleared???

(OP)
I select plotter and the pop-up window reads, "Printer Name Is Invalid" and the only way to clear the error is to ctrl-alt-del the appl.  I am running network version of A2Ki on WindowsNT.

RE: A2K displays a pop-up window that can't be cleared???

Two things:

First--Is the printer invalid?  Try selecting another one or add the problem printer again from Windows.

Second--As I read your message and noticed your handle, I realized that my MP3 player (set to random play) had just started "Cheeseburger in Paradise."  All hail the power of the parrot!

RE: A2K displays a pop-up window that can't be cleared???

I had the same problem when I deleted some old printers that we no longer have.  The layouts assigned to those printers lock up in this loop as soon as you go to Page Setup and I can find no way out of the loop without shutting off AutoCad using Ctrl-Alt-Del.

RE: A2K displays a pop-up window that can't be cleared???

Are you going into the page setup of the layout tab or attempting to plot?  You may find that attempting to plot is a better way, change the plot device, then save to layout.
