Intergranular corrosion

(OP)
Hi,
Would like to communicate with other Urea plant engineers who have seen Intergranular corrosion (and weld pitting attack) problems related to Sandvik 2RE69 (25Cr/22Ni/2Mo Urea Grade Stainless Steel) austenitic SS material used as corrosion protection liner in High-pressure urea synthesis reactors.

Regards
LEN

RE: Intergranular corrosion

Hi

Why not talk with the folks at Stamicarbon at Geleen in the Netherlands. Web Search will give you easy contacts.
Good man for answering any questions on this subject is Jo Eigenboom....

I might be able to help if you don't want to talk with Stamicarbon directly.

Hi Deics, Thanks for your feedback. As you know due to process licensor confidentiality issues I haven’t contacted Stamicarbon. By the way our process licensor is not Stamicarbon. Therefore I would appreciate to chat with you or communicate via email. My email address is lseneviratne@ballance.co.nz.
Many Thanks
LenS
