RE: hellooo Does any body have or ha

Regretably, the only Offshore WindTurbine certification agencies/standards, primarily the widely used GL standards, and IEC's 61400, were designed for a fixed bottom (in particular, monopile type) foundation. To simulate the dynamic motions of a floating foundation support, the wind-turbine simulation programs (Flex5, Bladed, etc.) should be integrated with a floating foundation program, which as far as I know, has not beeen done yet.

Wave tank simulations have been run on some of the new proposals, but the dynamic reverse loading on the Wind Turbine, phasing of consequential forces and moments, etc., have not been adequately simulated in integrated computer program runs. Anybody out there, know of any integrated wind-Turbine and floating structure programs?
