Brush question

Brush question

Brush question

(OP)
I see many threads on brushes, but maybe this it to easy.
How do you check the voltage drop across a brush on an AC Alternator ? I see this mentioned on checking the condition of brushes, but I am missing something.
Thanks

RE: Brush question

I recommend the following website for anybody dealing with brushes. I believe you will find what you are looking for in section 3 [it is in English so there is no reason to download the language plug-in when asked].
