Is there a way to use custom properties to fill out the title block in the draft file?  (I tried searching for a thread about this but couldn't find one)  Thanks for any help.

Use the tag $PRPSHEET:"Custom Prop" to populate your title block, ensuring that you match the custom properties in your model.

If you are inserting custom properties of your drawing into your title block, use $PRP:"Custom Prop".

RE: Custom Properties

Creigbm,
Check out http://www.nhcad.com/ if you want to make this task easy for everyone to link custom properties. In left column look at SolidWorks API Tutorials, Macros/Examples, "Example 7 - CONFIG PROPS.SWB will write several custom properties to active configuration". Joe Jones did a very nice job of explaining this task.
