Dear all
I have a assembly file. I want to know what is the inside empty volume of a assembly.How can I find?
I tried in this way
1)I extruded a cube by covering total assembly and subtracted from assembly.So I may get some portion,which is cube material occupied in in side the assembly gaps/empty area.But this is not giving satisfactory results. I hope I explained properly

If anybody any method please let me know

I think you are on the right track.  There is no "push-button" method to check interior cavities.

One idea to augment your method:
Have your cube larger than the assembly, so that it totally encompasses your assembly.  Then, subtract the assembly parts.  If necesary, use additional cuts to separate the internal volume (in case your internal cavity was not completely closed).  Use "Delete Body" (Insert --> Features --> Delete Body") to remove cube exterior and any other portions you do not want, until you are left with your cavity volume.

All this machinery making modern music can still be open-hearted.

RE: Volume

1) Place your tank into an assembly
2) Make a large enough solid box to represent the Liquid inside the tank. NOTE: Must be larger than the tank itself.
3) Place the box into the assembly and mate it so that it in compasses the tank. You must have only one opening in your tank and it must extend outside the box.
4) Edit the Box in the Assembly and click on the Icon "Cavity" in your Mold toolbar.
5) Click on the tank in the FM and click OK
6) Select the bodies you want to keep (which will be the Inside of the Volume of the Tank)

You now have what would be considered the liquid or Volume of the inside of your tank and that part can be measured with Mass properties.
