IEC 439 and UL 67 specifies the recommended AMPACITY of rectangular crossection bus-bars.
COuld you please advise, how to calculate ampacity of profiled bus-bars??
MOre surface area should increase the ampacity....and a profiled structure will be give more structural strength to Copper Bus bars.
Bus-bars required is for SWITCH BOARD installation...

If that's not an option, I'd base your ampacity on cross-sectional area only and neglect any possible additional ampacity from non-rectangular profile.
But that's just me.
