I am unable to see a particular ref

I am unable to see a particular ref

I am unable to see a particular ref

(OP)
I am unable to see a particular referenced design file in my seed file.  The display is ON, all layers for that referenced file are ON, there are no clipping masks.  If I exchange and it flips to the forementioned design file I can see it with no problem.  When I go back to the seed file , i still cant see the referenced file,it isnt there.
I detattched the file and reattached it and I could see it.  Why was I ot able to see it before??  Not knowing is killing me.  Can someone please let me know!

RE: I am unable to see a particular ref

It could be that the reference file was somehow at a really small scale so that it was THERE, but you just couldn't SEE it. I've had that happen, and when I checked the scale, it was something like 0.0416667 or so.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head with what I know.  Hope it helps...
